Albert Einstein Center Fellowship

The Albert Einstein Center for Fundamental Physics (AEC) calls for nominations for the Albert Einstein Center Fellowship. The aim of this fellowship is to support outstanding young scientists in the field of theoretical or experimental physics of the fundamental interactions and to offer them scientific freedom and a stimulating environment, within the AEC at the University of Bern, to develop and fully express their potential.

Nominees should have a PhD in either theoretical or experimental physics and an excellent track record in research. The fellowship is for three years and comes endowed with 10'000 Fr/year of research and travel funds.

The deadline for nominations is Tuesday November 10. To nominate a candidate, please send an email to

indicating Name, Affiliation and Email Address of the nominee and a letter (as a pdf of 1 A4 page) explaining the motivation for your nomination.

A letter of reference is not required at the time of nomination. Nominees will be requested to submit a complete postdoc application by the end of November through AcademicJobsOnline. The selection procedure will be completed by mid December.
